Sanitation...

     Keeping the cage clean is important in the prevention of disease  .Remove all droppings daily.  From time to time use Fam 30 or a mild germicidal to thoroughly cleanse the cage and tray, then rinse thoroughly.  I use Fam 30 and water mixture to clean the cage and tray. Then spray the pans down with Zaps-It to keep the odor to a minimum.  You could use a mild bleach and water mixture to disinfect and clean the cages also.  Be sure the rabbit is out of the cage when you use any chemicals to clean the cage.  Be sure all droppings and hair stuck to the cage is removed to prevent buildup.
